I moved with my family to Bangkok in July 2005. What do I do? I make hats and costumes; I’ve written articles, a novel and a non-fiction book is underway… I've held a variety of volunteer positions within the expat community.
Tea stains is where I write and illustrate the things that consume me: life in Thailand, shop windows, books, cats, making, hats, fascinators, tea and the colour orange.

Breathtaking. The one at top left looks a lot like the local poui (apamat) that's blooming right now.
Hey, you're back. Hurrah.
Beautiful - Spring :-)

This is terrific! I wish it didn't feel like winter out there again, though.
I'm here *waves*. And I think that nine-patch photo thingy is very clever.
Hi JJ, Good to see you! (And hopefully, depending on how we are fixed at Hotel H at the Novel Racers' meet!)
Oooh, people! Hello.
Liane, I'm horribly ignorant about plants, flowers and trees but I can tell you that's cherry blossom!
Bea, hello lovely.
Liz, only one day of rain so far the rest has been perfect.
Sue, yes Fri and Sat were cold (but sunny intermittently) and I had to hike up a hill to warm myself up! Drastic action.
Queenie, thank you. It's courtesy of Photoshop. I heart Photoshop SO much... *waves back*
Chris, thank you. I do hope that we'll meet then.
Welcome to blighty :-)
