Friday photo

I love the telegraph poles here. You see the street vendors tapping into the street supply in some random, Heath Robinson manner.

I love the swooping lines, the hodgepodge of wires and the knots but I often wonder how it's possible that the electricity gets from one place to another or how many more miles it travels than it should.

Thanks Esther. I also photographed the shadows on the road. So gorgeous.

and I love the coil of 'spare' waiting to go somewhere. My instinctive reaction is to try to make a fabric thing of it! All those lines as braids and narrow ribbons etc. You've set me off now... Thanks!

I love the thought electricity is firmly instructed to travel only so many miles before it sets out but, given all the distractions of downtown Bangkok, decides to take a detour.

Oh! and I too like these pics.
