Got to get rid...

I can't go home because if I go home, I'll turn my laptop on, and inevitably I'll go and look at my blog. That woman - the pink one - will be ... well she won't exactly be looking at me, will she? But she'll be there... Kind of pointing at me. And I just can't bear her. I can't imagine what made me think it was a good idea to post her up there.

So I've decided I've got to blog to move her down the page even if I've nothing much to say.

I could tell you about the acupuncture I had on Thursday for migraines... How he stuck multiple needles into me; how, though there is ample flesh to stick needles into my stomach and thighs even my arms, the tops of my feet are rather less well padded. Or I could tell you about the last pair of needles which were inserted into my temples and if I looked sideways I could see them...

But some of you might not like to hear about that. Needles might give you the willies...

I could tell you about my bestest friends in Manchester who lost their old cat Jake recently. How his brother Elwood is roaming the house looking devastated and lonely. So now they've decided to get two new kittens and they've sent pictures of them at two weeks old. Elwood is to be given a grandfatherly role of cuffing the new boys into shape. I could confess to feeling almost nauseous with jealousy because I so very badly want cats and I can't because I live in Thailand and it's a year by year existance.

I could tell you that I'm not sure if it's an existence or an existance but I think it's probably the first one although it's one of my spelling blind spots.

There are so many things I think of saying and then don't because they might be boring or I might one day run out of things to say.

Perhaps she's moved far enough down the blog now and it's safe to stop and get on with some work...

She has moved down the page, but I wouldn't worry. It's fascinating to see different things.

Your acupuncture sounds uncomfortable to say the least.

Acupuncture is fascinating.

Come on JJ...you've had much worse pictures on here!!! You've had elephant bums for goodness sake!!!

I really hope the acupuncture has helped

Guess what? (Yes, I know this is probably not going to help) We get our splats back two weeks tomorrow. I can't tell you how excited I am about it!!!

Yep, she's gone. That was a perfect screen sized blog post:-)

Does the acupuncture work for migraines? I'd be very interested to know. x

I didn't see the pink lady as I was on holiday - and now I've gone to the trouble of seeing her hee hee!

Hope the acupuncture worked - migraines are so horrid aren't they?

I'm glad Elwood won't be lonely for long!

I hope the acupuncture works.

I too am interested in the acupuncture. Does it hurt, for instance? Does it work, or is it too early to tell? Do you have a series of treatments or just one?

The pink lady and her friend are quite entertaining and will gradually fade into the archives after their 15 minutes are up...

Debs, but she was so ugly...

Rachel, it is, isn't it? Funnily my brother, a GP in the UK, also practises acupuncture.

Carol, But elephants' bottoms are so very much prettier. I am SO glad to hear that you get the splats home soon. You won't get any peace from them...

Lane, she has? Are you sure? Oh bum, I looked and she's still there... Uhm, I hoping so though not yet...

Amanda, OH DAMN, you didn't look, did you? That image will always be in your head now! Yes they are horrible and I really hope it works...

Pat, thank you. I am so sad for poor Elwood.

Liane, it doesn't exactly hurt... well not in well padded areas. No it's not pain or even discomfort really just odd. The needles are incredibly fine but it's quite strange. Thursday was my second go... and I had one migraine after the first session. I think a session is required and maybe you have to keep doing it to keep them away, which isn't necessarily very realistic! We shall see.

Her Pinkness is clearly a ladyboy! I can't imagine that monstrosity tempting any chaps into the bar. They'll run a mile!

You're very brave over needles - I'd run a mile!

I love the name Elwood (poor soul) and I have a lot of faith in acupuncture. Did it work for you or is it too soon to tell?

Hi JJ, I've been away so have had the pleasure of catching up - with pink ladies and someone in the background trying to kiss their ass! It sounds as if you've had good reason to have acupuncture when there's exam stress about the house (what a good mummy, keeping all the spares handy). And well done on the writing - you've done loads. Hope the acupunture does the trick.

Frogblogger, Husband agrees with you!

Flowerpot, needs must...

Helen, I know!

Karen, not so far... another one yesterday which I managed to catch in time with drugs!

Chris, hello. Sorry about the pink woman... she's yuk, isn't she?
