I've read quite a few of these too, and stand-outs for me were Rachel Joyce's novels, which I listened to in the car and absolutely loved!
Me too, Karen. I've really enjoyed her books. Capital by John Lanchester which was recently televised, was fantastic! I enjoyed the TV version but obviously the book was way better!
