- Jenny Beattie
- I moved with my family to Bangkok in July 2005. What do I do? I make hats and costumes; I’ve written articles, a novel and a non-fiction book is underway… I've held a variety of volunteer positions within the expat community. Tea stains is where I write and illustrate the things that consume me: life in Thailand, shop windows, books, cats, making, hats, fascinators, tea and the colour orange.

I know its hard isnt it. You want to blog because writing the novel can be a lonely time but you dont have the time. Keep going though, you'll be back before you know it.

I am SO going to raise a BIG GLASS to your achievement when you finish. And you WILL finish, it's not really going to be a never-ending book, honest!

OMG... 107K and hysterical chuckling... it's like one of those rock song endings that goes on and on and on, while the audience are clapping and cheering because they know it's really the end, but the drummer is still drumming and the lead guitarist is still twanging and the bass player and the singer are shaking their hair all over the place.
I too am writing a book, and started to Blog about it, then tailed off a bit. Thankfully, the novel hasn't tailed off and now, after the break I've had over Xmas, I'm at it again like a dog with a bone.
