I doubt there's any method to the madness in Pants-tip Computer Mall.
I was in Panthip (silent h) earlier in the week.
It can make you want to leap from the top balcony or make you fall in love with Bangkok all over again, dependent on your mood. Luckily for me, I fell in love.
Get to Panthip from Ratchathewi sky train or the river taxi if you're brave. If you can't quite face this madness, Fortune IT Mall (Rama IX on the MRT), is a teeny weeny bit more civilised.

Amazing photo. I'd be so confused by the time I found the checkout stand, I wouldn't know if I'd bought what I started out to find or not.
Wow. That is very... impressive.
Craziness! This is another fascinating glimpse...that mall would definitely be panic-inducing for me. It looks so overwhelming!
Wow. Not somewhere to go for a quiet browse then.
How splendid1
Thanks for the linkback :)
Wow, how to navigate that?! That must be geek heaven for some.
Ooh, I don't think I'd be able to cope with that.
OMG! That is amazing - you do show some fascinating glimpses into life there.
OMG it looks terrifying I suffer from mild claustrophobia and don't like being surrounded by large crowds so I think if I ever get to Bangkok that Mall would be a no no.
Crazy! and typically OTT. Your photos always make me smile.
Thanks for all your comments. I will explain why I haven't been back to make individual comments in the next day or two...
I guess the thing is that I HAVE to go to these places when I need things. They are extreme and bonkers, but I sort of love that too.
Photo really captures the almost pornographic intensity of the place. Loved it. Like eating oven-baked circuit boards with salt on 'em.
Roger, thanks - I love that description!
