They were advertising loo roll, I think. I've seen another bus with another funny picture on that I believe is part of the same series... I'll try and get a picture soon.
What I find interesting here is that the Thais traditionally use squat loos and water and NOT loo roll. But they are becoming more westernised over this and western loos are appearing in most new buildings.
I moved with my family to Bangkok in July 2005. What do I do? I make hats and costumes; I’ve written articles, a novel and a non-fiction book is underway… I've held a variety of volunteer positions within the expat community.
Tea stains is where I write and illustrate the things that consume me: life in Thailand, shop windows, books, cats, making, hats, fascinators, tea and the colour orange.

It really is another world there isn't it?
It's like some aliens have tried to replicate life on earth by watching it from a distance and making a very skewed representation of it in Bangkok?
Sooo strange:-)
Where are the woman's pants?
What were they trying to advertise!?
Amazing! You could put together a book of these :o)
Fascinating.
That would certainly distract me if I was driving past!
How wonderfully strange.
