I came to Bangkok with my family in July 2005. We came for a job, for two years, bringing two children. I've held volunteer positions within the expat community, written articles, a novel and I’m currently writing a non-fiction book. Tea stains is where I write and illustrate the things that consume me: life in Thailand, books, cats, making, textures, fascinators, tea and the colour orange.

Crazy!

Mary Mary, if I'd been quicker with my camera I'd have got him in the queue with his fierce gauntlets on!
TEW, it was one of the hot days two weeks ago. He can't have been very comfortable!
So different to anything I'd imagine seeing in a queue over here.
What a photo! Love it!
Hope you're safe in the flooding rains.
Left you a NaNo comment on my blog.

Debs, well this time it was in Charing Cross in London. I think he was on his way to Covent Garden as one of those living statue things.
L'Aussie, thank you. And thanks for the answer over at yours too. I'm still considering it!
