OMG

I wasn’t going to blog today.

But something remarkable has happened.

There’s a fifteen year old in my kitchen, cooking us supper. He’s decided what to cook, made lists, been shopping – where he bumped into Ms K, his head of year (how many brownie scout points?) and now he’s cooking beef fajitas and veggie fajitas.

OMG.

Crickey - this is excellent news J. You never know, he might even learn to put his shoes on properly next! :-)

Simon, HE IS! HE IS! Thanks to you! Actually, he's still not undoing the shoelaces (because that would be doing what the grown up told him to do) but he is using the shoe horn so the backs don't fold down!

Chris, he's a good lad (mostly.)

LPlate, I'm full of fajitas... and smiling.

Cathy, I don't expect it will but *whispers* you should've seen the state of my kitchen! It's taken me an hour and a half to clear up!

Seriously good news for you and for him. My 15 year cooks because he thinks it will impress 'fit' girls. We, with his older brother, are backing him up on this.

Isn't it brilliant when they act just like normal humans?
