Friday Photo: London October 09

I love this picture.

At dusk in October the simple 'black and white' of the decorations and roofs made me think of Mary Poppins and Bert the chimney sweep.

When the Christmas lights are turned on by a minor celebrity, I expect it'll morph into a garish and bland image.

Great photo.

I love that film; I'm still a big kid at heart sometimes. There's a song in it that reminds me of one of our racers...

I don't think I've sat through the entire length of Mary Poppins and it reminded me of the film as well. Very pretty.

That is an amazing shot. Will you take another when the lights come on? I'd love to see even the garish side.

Beautiful photo. I can see what you mean about Mary Poppins. I'm curious to see what it looks like all lit up now.

Lovely indeed. Looks very artistic. I think the lights will indeed spoil the effect.

Saw Mary Poppins as a small child and can remember nothing but the movie poster. Maybe it's time for a second viewing.
