The clue's in the name, right?

Let's hope the protests stay peaceful.

This actually looks like a holiday rather than a protest. Maybe because they all (at least in the photos and video_ have such lovely smiles. I assumed it would be scary. Is it?

Queenie, OMG, I'm having a nervous breakdown... who are in my neighbourhood?

Eeek, yes let's hope so, though I worry about that.

FP, so close huh? The PM lives a couple of streets away and they were going to pour blood outside his house! Yuk.

Sue, it was the oddest occasion. It wasn't remotely scary; in fact it felt like I was at a carnival and not a demo at all. There were all these people out on the streets, waving red things, and loud music... madness.

Saw the pics of the blood in this morning's Metro. Gross but pleased to hear that you didn't feel threatened.

Surreal situation.

CC, the blood really is gross, isn't it? Eewugh. That's what they were doing in my part of town: pouring blood outside the prime minister's place.

Thinking of you. I hope it all stays peaceful and is over soon.

Chris, the blood is horrible, isn't it? Yes, we're doing alright. There isn't much that we can do because Son must stay here til the end of June so I'm just hoping it doesn't escalate.

Woofy, I hate to tell you this but it's the blood of the protesters *grimaces.* We can't smell anything here and nor have I driven past the PM's house because I really DO NOT want to see any blood anywhere!

Debs, thank you.

Carol, the blood was horrible. I went past his house a couple of days later and thankfully there was no sign of any red stuff!

Lillian, thank you. A couple of the guys asked me (in sign language) where was my red shirt? The blood was disgusting, but original?
