They're all 'protein' of some description - and savoury. This is traditional Thai 'fast food' as the sticks are for food on the go. The Thais graze all day. I've had the small ball things -on the left- both fish and pork, and frankly, they are so processed I was hard pushed to tell the difference. I've not seen the face ones or the ones on the right of the face before. Right again resemble crab sticks but I wouldn't bank on it. Husband might be able to help when he comes by.
I'm not sure I fancy those, face or otherwise! I struggled a bit eating fat little chocolate snowmen at Christmas, because they were cute. However the desire to eat chocolate won over!
I think they look a little spooky and would not fancy eating them. Hope the situation in Bangkok is sorted soon as it seems to be getting out of hand. keep safe.
I moved with my family to Bangkok in July 2005. What do I do? I make hats and costumes; I’ve written articles, a novel and a non-fiction book is underway… I've held a variety of volunteer positions within the expat community.
Tea stains is where I write and illustrate the things that consume me: life in Thailand, shop windows, books, cats, making, hats, fascinators, tea and the colour orange.

So cute. What are they made out of?
It's like a little face kebab.
The things to the right look a bit unsavoury though:-)
Yes, what are they? The ones on the right look like fish sticks, the ones on the left look like dough balls with icing... please translate!

If it's on a skewer and sold in the street it all comes under "Dog on a stick" for me :D
Husband may well be able to help, were it not for the fact he is still sulking about yesterday's label.
oh, all right then. From left to right:
Fish Ball, Pork Ball, Teddy Bear, Coconut sticky rice, Crab Stick.

I'm with you on that one, far too cute to chomp into!
Don't mind the face. It's the socks-that-used-to-be-white greyish colour that puts me off.
ha ha! faces fine, its the legs that always worried me!!
They remind me of Thornton's pink pig lollies (don't think they make them these days).
