I'm off

I'm off to Brittany today.

I am not taking the laptop: I'm trying to prove to myself that I'm not addicted and I can live without it grafted to my hip. (I can, only because I've got my trusty Blackberry...)

I'm going to read, write, socialise with family, eat too much bread and cheese and drink too much wine.

Back next week.

Have a good time in Brittany and eat well. I wonder if you'll be looking for Internet Cafes :-)

Apologies for the two-part comment. When we used to go camping in France, I used to spend ages at newsagents getting copies of "The Independent", because I felt I couldn't be on Holiday without my favourite newspapers. You, of course, may well be able to survive without the Internet for a few days. I know I wouldn't.

Hope you're loving it.
Give the BB a hug for me.
(And the kids too, if you can sneak a couple in without them noticing.)

Sounds terrific. Right now in England: dull grey skies intermittently releasing heavy rain. Just thought you'd like to know;-)

I completely believe you, JJ. Honest:)

Seriously, it does the soul good to spend time with family and the odd glass of wine is certainly to be encouraged.
