They're coming to get me

Earlier this week I had an attack of the miseries on here on my blog.

Lots of people were lovely, and gave me their support.

But JonM, while being very supportive, let slip about something ... someone... well, I just didn't know about them.

And being a worrier, I began to worry. So I did what I always do in the middle of a worry: I did some research.

Yes, it was on the internet, and I do know how easy it is to trace me... but it was so quick.

I heard a knock at my door, and there were two men there.

They really didn't like it very much because I tried to take photographs, and I think they rather like to pretend they don't exist...

Perhaps I should give up writing and learn to use Photoshop properly?

Did they lock you up in the Pen-itentiary?

Oh my God, I made up the Writing Police and they exist!!! But what about the hideous giant spider thing that I imagined living in my attic last night....

Actually, I'm a little worried that you spent so much time creating images of men in uniform coming to arrest you... :-)

JJ - You really need to get out more!!!

Lane, Hahaha. Love it.

Jon, Mmmm, did you know they exist? I'd be taking very great care about that big spider thing in your attic.

Yes, I'm a little worried about this too, now you come to mention it. Perhaps it's wishful thinking? Ooh err.

Carol, NO NO, I need to spend lots more time making nonsense pictures up of things in Photoshop. I so love it.

Argh...I think they may be coming for me too!!

Great images JJ.

And a particularly handsome hand in the second shot ;-)

Now all I need is the uniform.

Cathy, there's no excape...

Jen, thanks. It's so fab. Perhaps I can give up writing and make all your book jackets instead out of nonsense? Yeah?

Caroline, OH MY GOD, No.... Not after what Jon suggested?

Yeah, but Liz, you've only moved continents, this week? Yeah? You're one of the inspirations that cut the crap and just get on and do it...

Man2/Beast, You trying to blow my cover? Yes, okay, it's your arm, and a very fine arm and hand it is too. It can have a modelling contract...you can be a hand model, yeah?

JJ - that's excellent. Made me smile! Am in a bit of a slump myself after finding out that no winner was selected in the Chick Lit comp that shall not be named :o(

Cally, I'm sure I shouldn't be saying, but I've been keeping up with it all, watching all of you waiting and I really am astonished at the lack of information. If it's what they feel, they should just come out and say it. They are treating everyone very shoddily.

*peaks out from hiding*

"They're real? Oh bother..."

Very funny, JJ!

JJ you're too kind as I haven't been just doing it in a long time now!!!

Jenny Beattie said...

Angie, 'fraid so, even if only in my head!

Liz, but it's not kindness, it's an absolutely belief that you WILL start again (when you can) and pick up where you left off. Everytime I stop, I worry that I won't be able to start again...
You'll be fine.

hours and hours spent photoshopping for my blog seems like another fantastic way to procrastinate - I MUST learn.
