What a brilliant and positive thing to do, listing things that spring to mind as 'good'.

You're actually the only other person I know who likes The Magnetic Fields, oh blogging twin!!

Hope you had a lovely Anniversary night out

Jon, Yes, lovely women ... are lovely.

Jen, thank you. I do so love everything Stephin Merrit does, sooo so much. And we did thanks.

Liz, thank you too. I'm glad it helped - sometimes it's just in the compiling.

What a great list and even though it's in no particular order,
I love seeing 'bed' at the top and 'sleeping' at the bottom:))

Congrats on 16 years!

all good stuff - not so fond of cats, though. And what exactly is/are The Magnetic Fields?

Oooh, The Magnetic Fields are an American band. Stephin Merrit is the main man and he also has bands called The Sixths, The Gothic Archies and because it's early I think I may have forgotten some. The music is classed by iTunes as 'alternative' but they are folky/quirky/just brill. They are wooonnnndddderrrrfuuuul.

I suppose at some point I must give these guys a listen since I have been hearing you talk about them for a year now!! I'm slightly scared though.....you do have a penchant for slightly depressing tunes!!

Sorry Lane, didn't mean to miss you out - I was so excited at 6am that someone was letting me talk about Mag Fields...

Yeah, it sort of had to come full circle I felt. Otherwise, I might have sat here all night adding to the list.

And thanks for the congrats.

Hello Carol,

No it's no good. You're not gonna like them. I still remember the day you walked in here while I'd got it on the Ipod. Your face!

I hope they are in some kind of order, as I quite like being 7th, and it would be an honour to be ranked above tea. And thanks for rating me 28 places above Bejeweled 2 Deluxe, to lose out to those finger twitching gems would be more than I could cope with.

Bea,

Good Things In No Particular Order

I hate to disabuse you of your ranking, sweetheart, but if you refer back to the original posting, YOU were Man2. Ooops.

What a great list, but I particularly want to say congrats on the 16 yr anniversary! That's fantastic. And still best friends, which is how it should be.
Will check out Magnetic Fields.
