More than 2,000 reasons to be cheerful

I know it's a not unusual for many of you: Novel Racer folk regularly do this number of words. But I talk about bottoms a lot and worry about things: writing and not writing. If I manage any words, it's usually a maximum of 1,000.
Today, after Sunday lunch I went to Starbucks, where I wrote lots of words, with my grande English Breakfast tea to have here not take away.
Tomorrow I will do the same thing (perhaps not the Sunday lunch everyday or I will get even fatter) but I will go and order a magic tea and see if I can do it again.

Lane, Thank you. I am very proud. Bit pathetic, but true. I must go an update my word count thingy too.

OMG I will have to get stuck in myself otherwise I will be left behind entirely. I thought I could count on you to stick with me to the bitter "middle"!!!!!!
I am going to have to find a Starbucks, no thats not possible so it will have to be a Bar. Hummmmm!

Well done jj! Very very inspirational. So, I need a Starbucks, is that right? Is that where I have been going wrong?

Jen, Thanks honey.

Hellojed, thank you too. It's worth a try, I didn't even order muffin: fancy all that inspiration and no choc muffin. Quite amazing.

Sheepish, oh that made me laugh out loud. I'm not even close to the middle unless my novel is a short story! I think you can still rely on me...

Pacha, Well, I think so. I'm hoping that the irritating man who whined to me about how expensive Starbucks wifi was, and where in Bangkok you could get free wifi, wasn't part of the magic fairy dust thing. Cos I didn't take his number and I don't think he'll be in tomorrow! Then I'll be back to being totally buggered again.

Wow, very impressive. Well done!

We've only just got a Starbucks here, but I will have to try it out myself sometime. ( The writing I mean. I've already tried the coffee etc, many times...)

WooHoo JJ, fan-ruddy-tastic!

I am often inspired by my local Starbucks which also happens to be in Borders...coffee and books all around me. x

Cathy, thank you. I think the trick might be to NOT buy a wifi card... I must not be able to check blogs/emails etc...

Carol, Thanks. I hope you're doing that at home!

Thanks Helen, let's hope it's lasts. This Starbucks is in the same mall as our big Kinokuniya bookshop, so it's not far to go.

Thanks everyone.

Well done! That is absolutely fantastic! A great amount of words you've done there! You should be very proud of yourself!

Yay and congrats! That is a huge number of words for me too, so I am in awe and thinking of heading to my nearest coffeeshop for a grande latte 'for here.'

A Writer, Thank you. I am feeling very daft and proud all at the same time. I know lots of people do that amount daily, but I tend not to. I struggle...

Angie, I'm back off to Starbucks again today (a bit later, it's rather early here) to see if I can do it again!

Fingers crossed, eh?

2000 words is spectacular! I'm impressed with myself if I manage to do 1000 in a day!

If you keep that up....or anything near like that up...you'll have a novel done in no time.
