This is all because you didn't follow my patented Jet Lag Defeat Programme, as practised by self and family last December. Obviously you couldn't follow said JLDP because in order to do this you need to be in THIS country for at least three weeks, so that you can get up 15 minutes earlier every day until you're getting up before you went to bed.
Helen - thanks. Bit of a struggle at the moment. Can't keep my eyes open for long!
Jen, yes, I followed that advice yesterday (without the wine) I spent all day intermittantly reading and snoozing. I still managed to sleep all night last night, which must mean I'm in for a 2am waking session tonight!
Liz, it's a bugger, isn't it?
HPoP, I see the logic in that programme. I am sad not to have practised it. Maybe in my July visit?
Rodrigo - Mmmm, yes, good to see you here. Do come again!
Yup I know the feeling. I tried to drown my jet lag last night with wine and baileys (I liked your advice Jen) - stayed up stupidly late and STILL woke up ridiculously early this morning!!
I have matching sets of luggage under each eye and it doesn't look like they are going away any time soon!!
It sounds as though your trip was well worth the jetlag, and the pic's very good. I'll go along with the wine advice, seems to work for everything!!!!!!!
Carol, can't do the wine - that would knock me out for days! And I'd still wake up with a hangover.
Sheepish, aaccch, wine and me, we don't work so well together. JJ and gin, well, that sometimes works okay. The trip was lovely - being on my own such a luxury!
Lisa, Lisa, Lisa. I am clever a bit with Photoshop, but I cannot understand Favicon thingy... oh for that, I am so stoooopid (maybe when the jetlag wears off I will be cleverer! Yeah, it's a pain worth getting - it was lots of fun.
Caroline, Nah, just photoshopped. But my, I'm sleeping for England at the moment. Still, that's better than having those wide awake at 3am moments! JJx
I moved with my family to Bangkok in July 2005. What do I do? I make hats and costumes; I’ve written articles, a novel and a non-fiction book is underway… I've held a variety of volunteer positions within the expat community.
Tea stains is where I write and illustrate the things that consume me: life in Thailand, shop windows, books, cats, making, hats, fascinators, tea and the colour orange.

Love the matchsticks.
That bad, eh?
Wine. Sleep until you've forgotten which bit of the world you're on. Feel awake again.
Oh dear, advice dept is clearly closing down for the weekend :(
Ditto what Helen said :-)

Rodrigo - gets everywhere with his personalised bloody T-shirts doesn't he!!!
Jet lag is good. Jet lag means you bin somewheres faraway! To here and back infact! I wish I had a bit of jet lag ;-)
