Me, The Badge and Bangkok

This is a shy me on our balcony in Bangkok. To think I used to overlook hills in Buckinghamshire...

For anyone that doesn't know (where have you been?) Caroline Smailes' book In Search of Adam comes out in paperback on 1 February 2008. You can see Caroline's blog here, and my brief review of the Hardback here. You can find other reviews, more articulate than mine on Caroline's blog.

Go and buy the paperback. The story is harrowing, but beautifully told. What are you waiting for?

Oh yes, the 1st February. Don't forget now.

Wow! What a view! Makes me dizzy. Can you just move AWAY from the railing, please? I feel a bit nauseous seeing you there...OMG, are you actually leaning on the railing? I'm not sure I can cope...

What a view!!

I think your post title though is slightly misleading. Surely 'My Left Shoulder, The Badge and Bangkok':-)

At 93-pixels max., that's a very slim you, too!

Very high up! Are you on your roof?

Pacha, is it better if I lean a bit this waaaaaayyyy ... no? Okay, I'll stop messing. Sorry.

Laurie, Hmmm me too: I'm not sure I need stuff in my head like that. However, I have decided to support fellow novel racers in the hope that they will do so for me, and it really was beautifully poetic.

Lane, yes, you're right of course.

Leigh, oh I wish...

Jon, nope; five more floors up to the roof!

It's so high. So so sooooo high.
I am scared for you - please don't go too near to the edge.

(And thank you .. I came here to say that, but was distracted)

It's a pleasure Caroline. It's funny because I used to feel 'Oh my god, it's so high...' but I guess I've got used to it.

I'm staring at that view thinking "Do I really want to immerse myself in that again?"...and by golly, the answer is a resounding "YES. YES!". Bring me city life (so in 6 months I can long for village life again!)Still no word if we'll be neighbours soon!
