...of mice and men...

I have a key to pale pink room, sublet from lovely lingerie ladies at Smoochie Smoochie.

I have purchased a fan (I have no air con!) and a tiny kettle with an orange handle.

I have installed my new orange (of course) beanbag.

I have borrowed a desk and a chair from Andrew Computer and his lovely wife.

And, I’m the proud owner of a sick Son who is at home and not at school.

So no office today.

Tomorrow you will be ready. You can spend today collecting together some (orange) desk tat to make you fell more at home. Don't forget your pencils, sharpener, lucky Gonk, packet of Polos, spare packet of Polos, spare pencils, ruler, protractor (the half circular plastic thing in pencil cases sets), post-it notes, etc.

Hope he's better soon and you can get to the office.
Am interested to know the purpose of orange bean bag. Creative naps?

Hi guys, thanks for the sympathy. In some ways it was a good thing, because I got so worked up yesterday about going today that it was bound to be a disaster! Now the pressure is off and I can go tomorrow afternoon after my meeting and write.
Except, HA, I've got a headache and a sore throat! Bugger.

Nooooooooo! Noooooooo! Nooooooo! I hope your son is feeling better (and you too!) and you can get to your room soon. And more importantly write lots and lots while in 'your' room on 'your' time! Good Luck!

oh no - there's always something, isn't there?

Hope your son gets better IMMEDIATELY. (both for your sake and his!)

Oh Lane, I didn't mean to ignore your question (or did I?) the orange bean bag is to sit on when I want a change! NOT FOR SLEEPING. OH NO. THAT WOULD NEVER DO... ;-)

Pacha and Rebecca, Oh I know... oh my, and today the saga continues...

Are you going to get a mini fridge too? Very useful for milk for your tea (unless you have it black) and cold drinks for when you build up a writing steam and need to cool off?

Cally, I'm quite desperate for a mini fridge - almost as excited by a mini fridge as I was a laminator (and I'm not joking) however, I thought I should buy one IF I manage to sufficiently up my word count by the end of the month and decide to take the room on a permanent contract... Oh,lordy, the pressure!
